Clean Ups / Litter Picks

MCIB have been busy in the week before Christmas on a project to clear the footpath from the petrol station at Mosley Common to the Queens/Amans junction.

 

The verge had shrunk to less than a third of its width due to lack of maintenance by Salford Council.  The  footpath was becoming completely overgrown as the bank encroached onto the path.

 

Following a lot of hard work, we're pleased to show that the path is now clear to be enjoyed by residents, cyclists, joggers and dog walkers.
